Encouraging the entrepreneurial spirit among young people can teach valuable lessons, yield valuable experiences and produce a lot of fun.
Those are the goals of an effort the Mackinac Center is spearheading in late summer 2016. It’s called the Acton Children’s Business Fair (not affiliated with our friends at the Acton Institute).
At a business fair, kids put together their own business plans, produce products and sell them at a market. The Mackinac Center is bringing this program to downtown Detroit.
Imagine the city’s youth showing off their creativity and business skills by learning through hands-on experience how to produce goods and services. The Mackinac Center is partnering with Junior Achievement to bring this event to the Motor City.
Many more details will be announced in the coming months.
