Josiah Kollmeyer

Josiah Kollmeyer was the 2014 Teresa L. Olson Scholar at the Mackinac Center and was a summer research intern in 2011 and 2012. Kollmeyer is a graduate of Hillsdale College, where he studied history and mathematics and participated in the Honors Program. He will attend Harvard Law School starting in 2014 and ultimately plans to pursue a legal career fighting against modern-day slavery and human trafficking.

Born in Geneva, Switzerland, Kollmeyer moved to Midland in sixth grade and is a Dow High graduate.

Kollmeyer plays the violin and enjoys reading J. R. R. Tolkien and G. K. Chesterton.
