ITHACA — The Ithaca Public Schools is in the second year of a three-year contract with a private psychological service to provide mental health work throughout the district, a move estimated to have saved $32,000. Prior to contracting for individual student evaluations with List Psychological Services of Bay City, the school district purchased the services from its local Intermediate School District. Charles Schnetzler, superintendent of the Ithaca school district, told MPR that they are happy with the services the district is now receiving.
