This document contains a brief description of the policy priorities of the Mackinac Center for Public Policy in 2022. These recommendations include maintaining a fiscally responsible state government, providing more choice and flexibility in schooling, containing health care costs and injecting competition into that sector, ensuring affordable and reliable energy and environmental protection, improving transparency for government and reining in harmful regulations.
