Vance Ginn, Ph.D., is the founder and president of Ginn Economic Consulting, host of the Let People Prosper Show podcast, chief economist of Pelican Institute for Public Policy, and senior fellow of the Mackinac Center and other think tanks across the country. He previously served as the associate director for economic policy at the Office of Management and Budget and is a former chief economist of the Texas Public Policy Foundation.
James M. Hohman is the director of fiscal policy at the Mackinac Center for Public Policy. He has been researching and writing about Michigan’s fiscal policy since 2002. He holds a degree in economics from Northwood University in Midland, Michigan.
