Nathan Burgard serves in donor relations at the Mackinac Center for Public Policy. He began his career with the Center as an advancement intern in May 2021 and was hired full-time in January 2023. 

Born and raised in Midland, MI, Nathan grew up learning from two hard working parents the values of integrity and self-responsibility. Nathan now resides in East Lansing, Michigan where he is active in a college ministry and is finishing his undergraduate degree.  

Nathan enjoys sharing our mission of bringing integrity to government and building policies where all people can flourish. He especially loves gaining wisdom and insight from the people he meets with across the state. In his free time, you can find Nathan studying scripture, playing basketball, or attempting to learn new things.
