Sandra Darland is the director of events at the Mackinac Center for Public Policy.
A graduate of Saginaw Valley State University, Darland holds a Master of Arts in communications and multimedia. Prior to joining the Center in 2017, she was communications director of Midland Tomorrow, where she developed marketing and communications material as well as planning and executing events.
Darland also previously worked for the MidMichigan Innovation Center, where she was responsible for numerous statewide events, and for Saginaw Public Schools as a senior marketing manager .
In addition to her position at the Mackinac Center, Darland and her husband are small business owners. They have two sons and live in Midland, Michigan.
