Stephen J. Frick is the Manager of Information Systems at the Mackinac Center for Public Policy, an independent, nonprofit research and educational institute located in Midland, Mich. He is responsible for the Center's Web sites, software development and computer systems. He joined the Center in 2000.
Frick has worked as a computer system analyst and system administrator for decades. In addition to the Center, he has worked for a manufacturing company, a pipeline services company, the state of Michigan and two federal government contractors outside Washington, D.C.
Frick has Master of Science and Bachelor of Science degrees, both from Central Michigan University, both with honors. The MS degree is in Computer Science, and the undergraduate majors were Computer Science and Mathematics. He worked as a teaching graduate assistant.
