Jennifer Panning is a member of the Board of Directors of the Mackinac Center for Public Policy.
Jennifer is the President and founder of Artisan Tile Inc., a Michigan-based company established in 1995. Starting with a small team, including her father, Jennifer has grown Artisan Tile into a leader in the tile and terrazzo industry. Artisan Tile has been part of numerous significant projects throughout the state, with a concentration in Southeast Michigan. A few to note include: Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport North Terminal, McNamara Terminal, Little Caesars Arena and the Shinola Hotel.
In addition to her role at Artisan Tile, Jennifer is actively involved in several industry-related organizations. She has held leadership roles on various boards, such as the Construction Association of Michigan and the Tile Contractors’ Association of America (TCAA), serving on the board for a decade and as president from 2014-2015. Outside of the tile industry, Jennifer also serves as the Chair of the Northwood University Board of Trustees. She has two grown daughters, Morgen and Sloan.
