Paul Godek, born and raised in Detroit, is an economist who currently resides in Alexandria, Virginia. He visits Michigan often to meet with family and friends.
Paul received a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Chicago and a B.A. in economics and political science from the University of Michigan. He has held high-level positions with the Federal Trade Commission’s Bureau of Competition and with the Department of Justice’s Antitrust Division. He has published numerous academic journal articles as well as commentaries on a wide variety of topics. Paul is currently an affiliated expert with Analysis Group.
