Alexander Cartwright, Ph.D. is an adjunct scholar with the Mackinac Center for Public Policy and an assistant professor of economics at Ferris State University. Dr. Cartwright earned his doctorate in economics from George Mason University. His undergraduate degree is in mathematical economics from Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia. His intellectual and research interests include Public Choice and Austrian economics. Dr. Cartwright is fluent in Spanish. During his university days he made nearly 3,000 runs as a driver for Uber, the ridesharing company.
