As Communications Project Manager for the Institute for Justice, Anthony “Rek” LeCounte works hard to make the public case for economic liberty, free speech, private property rights, and school choice for all Americans.
Prior to joining the Institute for Justice, Rek served as a communications strategist with a leading political communications firm and the digital media manager at a policy-oriented nonprofit. A proud Southerner, he was born in Florida, grew up in an Army family, and now resides in Virginia. He graduated from Yale University, where he studied political science, Spanish, Portuguese, and philosophy, and was sorted into Timothy Dwight College in the last years of the inimitable Master T.
