Kristin Anderson

Kristin Anderson was events manager at the Mackinac Center.

Kristin Anderson joined the Mackinac Center for Public Policy in August 2016. With a background in management, insurance, and sales, along with a drive to connect people and resources, she has served her community in many ways over the last three decades.

With a degree in French, Spanish, and Secondary Education from Olivet Nazarene University, she has had experience in planning logistics and facilitating an after-school program with 150 middle school students; managing and teaching a moms of preschooler’s group; tutoring special needs children and working one on one with their parents; and developing and implementing a study skills curriculum for at-risk teenagers.

Currently, she serves at Midland Nazarene Church in a variety of ways including “highway 54”—a program for 5th and 4th graders who go out and volunteer in the Midland Community each Wednesday night.

In her free time, she enjoys planning parties, entertaining, cooking and baking, finding new restaurants to visit for date nights with her husband and attending sporting, academic and cultural events with their two children. She is inspired by music, theatre and traveling the world.
