John O'Trakoun

John O'Trakoun is a senior economist at Ford Motor Company in Dearborn, Michigan where he analyzes and forecasts economic trends and their impact on the automotive industry. Previously, he served as a senior economist in international affairs and trade at the U.S. Government Accountability Office in Washington D.C., and as a teaching fellow in economics at Boston College in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts. His work has been published in governmental policy studies, peer-reviewed journals, and online media.

He has a PhD and a MA in economics from Boston College and bachelors degrees in international relations and statistics from American University. John lives in Canton.
