Kristine L. Palosaari is a former vice president for advancement for the Mackinac Center for Public Policy. In that role, she oversaw all functions of the advancement department, with special responsibilities for donor relations and fund raising. She has experience with several Michigan nonprofit organizations in fundraising for endowment, capital and annual campaigns going back more than a decade. Palosaari has a Master’s Degree in Communications from Western Michigan University and holds a Certification of Fund Raising Management from Indiana State University’s School of Philanthropy. Palosaari is married with three daughters, a son-in-law and three grandchildren. She loves long distance running, tennis and international travel.
