David Pontoppidan

David Pontoppidan was an IHS Summer Fellow with the Mackinac Center for Public Policy in 2009. He is finishing a master's degree in sociology at the University of Copenhagen in his home country of Denmark, and has been a graduate exchange student at Yale University. He has previous experience in writing about natural science, having worked on biofuels as a lobbyist stagière for the Danish Dairy Bureau in Brussels, and as a spokesperson on a CO2 reduction campaign for the Danish Ministry of Environmental Affairs. He will be applying for a Ph.D. after completing his degree.
