The Mackinac Center for Public Policy's first Club Mid event of 2014 will feature Mr. Lawrence W. Reed, president emeritus of the Mackinac Center and current president of the Foundation for Economic Education (FEE). Mr. Reed’s talk is entitled, “Liberty and Character – The Indispensable Connection.”
The Foundation for Economic Education was founded in 1946 to study and advance the freedom philosophy. Mr. Reed is an accomplished author and inspirational speaker on free markets and individual liberty. His popular works include: Striking the Root: Essays on Liberty, A Republic – If We Can Keep It, and Are We Good Enough for Liberty?
Please join us as our guest for this free event 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 12, 2014, at the Midland Country Club, 1120 W. St. Andrews, Midland, MI 48640. Registration and reception will begin at 5:30 p.m. (Please note, casual dress is acceptable and collared shirts must be worn. No denim, please.)
