Polls tell us the economy is foremost in the minds of voters. What economic problems and opportunities will the newly elected governor, legislature, and Congress face? How will individual families, businesses and workers be affected by their decisions, or indecision?
Just three days after Election Day, join the Mackinac Center for Public Policy and one of America’s most prominently cited economists, Stephen Moore, for a lively analysis of our political and economic condition in light of the election.
Mr. Moore is a senior fellow at the Cato Institute in Washington, D.C., and president of the Club for Growth, which the Chicago Tribune called “one of the most influential private campaign organizations in the country.” He is a frequent commentator on economic and fiscal issues on national television and radio, and his essays and remarks have appeared in the Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, National Review, and the New York Times. He is the co-author of the Cato Institute’s biennial Fiscal Policy Report Card on America’s Governors
The luncheon begins promptly at 12:00 noon. Please make reservations for yourself and any guests by 5 PM on November 7, 2002, by calling the Mackinac Center at (989) 631-0900 or send your e-mail to: rsvp@mackinac.org.
