Please join Sylvie Légère, President and Co-Founder of The Policy Circle, and the Mackinac Center for Public Policy for a Policy Circle Conversation to discuss free enterprise.
The Policy Circle offers women a way to belong to and connect with a community of women interested in learning about and engaging in policy that encourages what human creativity can accomplish in a free-market economy. Today The Policy Circle is a network of over 2,500 members in 36 states. We hope that you will be able to join us and learn more about The Policy Circle as well as share your thoughts on how we can continue to grow in Michigan.
Sylvie Légère has more than 20 years of experience working in technology, process and change management for Accenture, TD Ameritrade and JP Morgan Chase. As a former owner of a bicycle shop outside of Chicago, and developer of an app for people with developmental disabilities, she knows the challenges small businesses face. After personally encountering the unique challenges women face in the policy sphere, she co-founded The Policy Circle to provide women with opportunities to gain the confidence to join in the public policy dialogue. Sylvie earned an undergraduate degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Ottawa, Canada, and a Master’s in Computer Science with a specialization in the Learning Sciences from Northwestern University, in Evanston, Illinois. She and her husband Todd reside in Wilmette, Illinois, and have three children.
Lunch is free for attendees who RSVP. Registration is required by May 17.
