Executive Vice President Michael J. Reitz was a guest on “The Tony Conley Show” on WILS AM1320 in Lansing today, talking about the Center’s upcoming series of town hall meetings focusing on government transparency, the Freedom of Information Act and the Open Meetings Act.
The first of the four meetings is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. July 17 at Baker College in Jackson, and will include panelists from the ACLU, Michigan Press Association and The Center for Michigan/Bridge Magazine. Conley will serve as moderator.
The other town hall meetings will be July 24 in Grand Rapids, Aug. 1 in Traverse City and Aug. 7 in Troy.
