Ken Braun, managing editor of Michigan Capitol Confidential, was a guest on “The Frank Beckmann Show” on WJR AM760 this morning, discussing Freedom of Information Act requests the Mackinac Center filed last week at Michigan State University, University of Michigan and Wayne State University, as well as the ensuing death threats the Center received.
Braun said that the FOIA request to Wayne State, in particular, was about the school’s Labor Studies Center, which Braun noted has a website that makes it look more like a “political action committee than a university research and teaching department.”
AnnArbor.com, the Detroit Free Press, The Detroit News and The Bay City Times have all written about Braun's comments.
