Recently the North Dakota Policy Council held an open meeting on health care reform. Now the council has put a video of the event online.
It features ideas for making health and health insurance more affordable, and lessons from states that have enacted “universal” care.
The video takes about an hour and twenty minutes, so set aside some time. The speakers include Eric Fruits (4:20 into it) speaking on the Oregon Health Plan; Pearl Hahn of Hawaii (12:40) on the employer mandate in that state; Brian Lapps (16:45) on TennCare; Kerri Houston Toloczko (26:45) speaking on Maine; and Michael Tanner (36:30) speaking about Massachusetts. Questions from the audience start at 48:10.
