Dr. Ormand G. Hook [Mackinac Center]

Dr. Hook is currently a school psychologist at the Mecosta Osceola Intermediate School District. Previously Hook was the first principal of Crossroads Charter Academy in Big Rapids, MI. Crossroads was built on the concept of basic academics with emphasis on phonics, math fact mastery, Core Knowledge curriculum and character education. Crossroads was chartered by Grand Valley State University.

Prior to the position as principal of Crossroads Charter Academy he was the Director of the Michigan Resource Center for Charter Schools at Central Michigan University, He also served as Superintendent of Lower Bucks Christian Academy in Levittown, Pa.
