‘Current Year Allowances’ in a State Aid Financial Status Report

Following is a discussion of each of the “current year allowances” provided to the Grand Rapids City School District in the 2006-2007 school year. These allowances represent the sums of money that the state has allotted the district for the current state fiscal year in various spending categories.
