Kendra Shrode is the Mackinac Center’s longest-serving employee. Hired in 1992, she kept the office in order, supervised the center’s move to a new building, acted as a constant moral compass, and traveled the state and the world in the service of liberty. The contributions she made to the Mackinac Center’s culture and success over the past 24 years are impossible to completely catalogue, but as she retires, we thought we’d give it a shot. Below, some of Kendra’s many friends and colleagues share their fondest memories and well wishes.
