State and local media are turning to the Mackinac Center for analysis of the announcement that A123 Systems declared bankruptcy today.
Fox News, MLive and Instapundit all cite Jarrett Skorup on the failed electric car battery maker that received hundreds of millions of dollars in corporate welfare.
Skorup wrote last week about a promotional video the Michigan Economic Development Corp. took down from its YouTube channel that showed President Obama, Gov. Granholm and other politicians touting the company and claiming it would bring thousands of jobs to Michigan.
Skorup also discussed the matter on "The Tony Conley Show" on WILS AM1320 in Lansing.
